Membership
Members are an essential part of the Museum of the Fur Trade’s growth and health. Revenue generated from memberships goes directly back into funding for the museum.
Individuals can enjoy the following benefits of membership:
- A free subscription to The Museum of the Fur Trade Quarterly
- Regular updates about the museum and its happenings from our museum newsletter “The Express”
- Free family admission to the museum (up to 4 adults)
- 30 minutes of research request time
- 10% discount in our Museum Shop
Membership is by calendar year, January through December. No matter when you join throughout the year, you will receive all membership benefits.
How to Join
- Print and mail the membership form to our office.
- Purchase your membership online through our Museum Shop.
- Call the Museum of the Fur Trade at (308) 432-3843 to purchase your membership with one of our friendly staff members.

Membership
- $35 for Beaver Membership - Includes Quarterly Magazines and free admission to the museum (4 adults).
- $50 for Voyageur Membership - Includes the above + 10% discount on qualifying items in the Museum Shop.
- $75 for Trader Membership - Includes the above + Hat S/M L/XL.
- $100 for Trapper Membership - Includes the above + When Skins Were Money by James A. Hanson.
- $1,500 for Bordeaux Life Membership - Includes the above + 6 Volume Encyclopedia of Trade Goods by
James A. Hanson.
Memberships are for 1-year increments. Contributions above the membership fee will be accepted as donations. Museum of the Fur Trade membership is on a calendar year (January through December). The website has access to the Museum Shop, a pdf table of contents for the Quarterly and other information about the museum.
NOTE: When a membership order is placed online, nothing will actually be mailed to you until the first Museum of the Fur Trade Quarterly of the year is printed, which usually occurs around February or March.
