Artist William Lucio, Zuni/Navajo. Just back from market this Mudhead is hauling a sack full of goods including an apple, Indian corn, oranges, a bag of flour, a box of crackerjacks and a can of Pepsi. This hand painted Mudhead Kachina, entitled "Give Away II", is hand carved out of just one piece of cottonwood. The piece is titled and signed on the bottom by the artist. It measures 8" tall on a base that is 3 1/4" in approximate diameter.
