Jennifer Jesse Smith has known since her first childhood visit to the Louvre that her future career was as an artist. Growing up surrounded by Native American culture gave her a love for nature, culture, and wonder.

After graduating from The Art Institute of Chicago, she began to develop her own line of jewelry. She draws from a blend of influences, including Native American, European, and rock and roll. She creates many designs for use in films and TV, and her jewelry is collected and worn by celebrities including Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Margaret Cho, Mickey Rourke, and many more.

Jennifer believes that the process of creating jewelry involves not only the artist but also the predestined owner. The culmination is when a piece goes from imagination to creation, finally finding the person to whom it belongs.
