About Us

The museum shop provides a unique opportunity for a visitor to take away a permanent reminder of one’s museum visit.  It also provides an essential source of revenue of the museum’s support.  Authentic American Indian craftwork and jewelry, precise reproductions of artifacts in the museum’s collection, duplicate collection material, and a complete array of books about the fur trade, history, native culture, art, exploration, cooking, etc. are available from the shop.  A large staff of volunteers manages all aspects of this part of our operation.
